ABOUT THE TITLE PAGE
Since 1981, The Title Page has been a gem in the heart of Rosemont. It is a general, out of print, and antiquarian book store.
Proprietor Beverley Potter started the store with her friend Margaret David. The two gained their early experience as booksellers running the Bryn Mawr College book sale, and then The Owl bookstore, both enterprises that were founded to support the college's scholarship fund.
Mrs. Potter and Mrs. David started The Title Page in a small space on South Roberts Road. When Mrs. David passed away, Mr. Potter continued running the shop, and later moved it to a larger and more commodious space — a historic dairy barn at 1 Franklin Avenue, also the home of George S. MacManus & Co. rare book shop. This is where it continues to operate today.
The Title Page has approximately 60,000 books displayed in our storefront, with another 50,000 in an available storage facility. A gem in the heart of Rosemont, we believe in personal service to the customer. We also search for books.
Among our specialties: Art and Architecture, Fine Bindings, Literature, and Sporting.
